Nothing can truly prepare you for motherhood, but it’s a journey you never forget!
As a mother, one of my biggest regrets was that I did not capture my pregnancy story with professional portraits! I look back on that time in my life with so many emotions, yet so few photos, all taken as a cell phone selfie in a dirty bathroom mirror. That’s why it means so much to me to help other mothers memorialize this special moment! For nine months, we grow a new life inside us. All session packages require a $100 non-refundable down payment to book your session date. Down payment goes toward the price of the session package. Remaining balance of session is due on or before the session date. Contact me for more details.
When is the best time to capture this motherhood moment?
the final trimester - the perfect lil baby bump
There are so many great options to consider when planning a special maternity photoshoot. Most importantly, we start with timing. For announcement photos, typically any time after 12 weeks is best. We can have fun planning with little to no bump shown and maybe your ultrasound images, props or just get creative with something more unique.
But for those beautiful baby bump maternity portraits, the best time to schedule those is in the beginning to middle of your 3rd trimester. Depending on what time of year that falls, will greatly determine the type of outdoor location vibes that will be available to you. So, let’s chat about it and we can discuss the beautiful location options available to you!

How do you accept payments for booking fees, session payments and prints?
I offer my clients several different ways to pay;
SESSION FEE BALANCES/PAYMENTS:
For the remaining session fee balances after booking fee payments are made, I will send you an invoice to your email address given at booking. From there you will need to sign your contract and can pay the remaining balance of the session fees due. You will have between the time I book with you until the day of our session to complete payments. If you would like to set up payment plan options, please let me know on your booking form and I will contact you to set that up. You can pay via debit/credit, gift certificate, PayPal, Venmo, check or cash on the day of our session. Please note: payments will need to be made in full on the day of our session.
BOOKING FEE PAYMENTS:
For my booking fees, I accept credit/debit card payments, gift certificates (as purchased through my online store), or can accept checks by mail or at our in-person pre-session consultation, or PayPal or Venmo payment options. For Venmo & check payments, you will need to email me to arrange those payment options.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
I offer my clients the ability to purchase gift certificates as gifts for loved ones! To purchase a gift certificate, click the button below. You can purchase them via debit or credit card.

For all my online print store products, there is only a couple ways to pay. That is via debit card or credit card. To purchase your digital downloads, printed photos, etc you will need to do so through my online client gallery store. I cannot accept payment via checks, cash or other for this.

Questions:
When should I book Maternity portraits?
I recommend booking your maternity portraits before your third trimester. It’s never too soon, just don’t wait too long to make sure I have open dates available before baby comes!
Can my partner or additional children be in the pictures?
Absolutely! If you want to make sure you have both mama only shots & images of you with your partner or family, you will need to choose the Goddess package. If you are bringing your child or children, I highly suggest bringing along another family member not being photographed to help keep them occupied while we are focusing on shots where they are not included.
How far along should I be for my ideal maternity session?
The sweet spot is around 29-36 weeks. I don’t like booking too close to your due date, so we don’t run the risk of missing out on those precious belly bump portraits. We just never know when lil one will make their debut appearance!
Do you offer a client closet or bump-friendly gowns?
Absolutely! For this option, I offer aa variety of dresses, gowns, and 2-piece sets that fit an assortment of sizes. I also offer outfits for the little kids too for a family coordinated look! If you would like your session to be styled by me using some of my wardrobe options, just let me know and I would be happy to help!
What do I need to do to prepare for my session?
While I cover this in more detail during our first consultation, I recommend drinking plenty of water, resting, and a fresh shave (for gowns showing leg) is also a plus. I also recommend pampering yourself with a hair and makeup appointment, and getting a manicure & pedicure prior to your session is also a bonus! I can refer you to some great Hair and Makeup artists if needed. Also avoid tight fitting clothes that may leave marks on your skin.
What should I wear for my maternity session?
After you book with me, I will send you my style guides with links and resources to great places to shop for bump friendly attire! Some popular maternity session attire is:
