At Sugar Divas Photography, I make the hassle of cake smash portraits easier by planning all the details from set design, cake design and can also offer outfit selections! I offer both indoor and outdoor session types. With each cake smash session, I set up fully customized indoor sets or can offer outdoor sets during good weather months.

All session packages require a $100 non-refundable down payment to book your session date. Down payment goes toward the price of the session package. Remaining balance of session is due on or before the session date. Please review the contract invoice for more details.

How do you accept payments for booking fees, session payments and prints?
I offer my clients several different ways to pay;
BOOKING FEE PAYMENTS:
For my booking fees, I accept credit/debit card payments, gift certificates (as purchased through my online store), or can accept checks by mail or at our in-person pre-session consultation, or PayPal or Venmo payment options. For Venmo & check payments, you will need to email me to arrange those payment options.
SESSION FEE BALANCES/PAYMENTS:
For the remaining session fee balances after booking fee payments are made, I will send you an invoice to your email address given at booking. From there you will need to sign your contract and can pay the remaining balance of the session fees due. You will have between the time I book with you until the day of our session to complete payments. If you would like to set up payment plan options, please let me know on your booking form and I will contact you to set that up. You can pay via debit/credit, gift certificate, PayPal, Venmo, check or cash on the day of our session. Please note: payments will need to be made in full on the day of our session.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
I offer my clients the ability to purchase gift certificates as gifts for loved ones! To purchase a gift certificate, click the button below. You can purchase them via debit or credit card.

DIGITALS, PRINTS & PACKAGES:
For all my online print store products, there is only a couple ways to pay. That is via debit card or credit card. To purchase your digital downloads, printed photos, etc you will need to do so through my online client gallery store. I cannot accept payment via checks, cash or other for this.

Capturing party events and all the little details is something I love doing for my own family! I don’t know about you, but I go all out with the party details and theme each year! I’ve found throwing a big annual party to celebrate our kids makes memories that last longer than all the toys and cupcakes!

Questions:
When should I book my children’s portraits?
This is easy! Whenever you would like! If you are wanting a “sitter” session, be sure to plan this according to when your baby will be able to sit unassisted (around 6mo to 10mo).
What is your turn around time?
Typically my turn around time for a fully edited gallery delivery is between 2-6 weeks. This depends on my work load and season. Summer/Fall is my busiest time of year.
What should my children wear during their portraits?
I want them to feel comfortable, so I suggest wearing clothes that they can move freely in. I also recommend soft toned, solid colors, avoiding loud prints and patterns so that we can keep the focus on their face. Avoid logos on t-shirts, characters and words, and don’t forget to choose shoes that coordinate with their outfits. Avoid daily worn tennis shoes. I will send out more detailed style resources & guides with what to wear or where to shop once you book your session.
What do I need to do to prepare for our session?
On the day of our session, be sure to have your children dressed and ready to arrive on location about 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time. Make sure they have eaten, but avoid any candies, foods, juices and drinks that will stain their skin, teeth, tongues or mouths. Avoid Cheetos, chocolates, suckers, berries, etc. This will help us to make sure their smiling faces are camera ready! Bringing water to drink is also helpful.
Are family included in children’s portraits?
Not for this type of service package, as these are specifically designed just for the kids. I do offer family portraits, however, and children’s portraits are a part of that package.
What is the age range for your children’s portraits?
Children’s portraits range from baby & “sitter” age (about 3 months old to 16 years old. I also offer separate package plans more specifically for:
Newborn Portraits (2 weeks old-1 month old)
1-yr Cake Smash Portraits
Senior portraits for high school seniors
and Sweet 16 & Quinceañera portraits.
